Arriving
You've been there
once again i am arriving to a familiar place-- you've been there. you know what it's like. to circle back. to head home. to witness again white discs flying by too fast to count mile markers blinking at the low winter sun. gone in a flash. don't worry: this too shall pass. this too shall give way, be remade by shadows by memory carbons as you dip and blow in again, a tight squeeze on the snaking highway. blackened scrub huffs by the wayside: a controlled burn. smoke shop canopy dangles, holey from some overnight storm. turn hard, uphill finally, and slide slow into the plain ole driveway: it's ok now. release the grip. let go let go let go

Yes! I have been there, thanks for this lovely reminder
