I noticed it again today. Again! It’s always the same old sky.
Making something new from that which is the same everyday is work. Sometimes it’s art, I suppose, but art is work too.
So it goes with life — our drive to innovate. Our desire for the next big thing! The raison d’etre for surfing VRBO … that next amazing getaway. Something new!
Like, here you are reading this on a new platform, a new digital “experience” when all it really is is just a plain old letter.

Today I mowed the lawn. It wasn’t too hot but you know my face got beet red! Hoooo doggie my face gets red! Ha! Just on the stoop waiting for the next person to come along and say “Oh my!! Are you OK???”
Exercised. Still not dead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Drove the girls around quite a bit today because the radiator was cracked in twins’ Nissan and it won’t be fixed till Wednesday earliest. You know the cars are all paid off when they all start breaking.
Speaking of Picard, you watching Picard?
Colin and I started it, and it took a couple episodes to lay the foundation for the story (and adjust to Picard being that old), and it’s pretty dang good! But then we started watching The Lincoln Lawyer, and tbh, that show was really good (at least I thought so, and I think finishing a season appeals to Colin’s linear nature). Plus before that we ate through all of Bosch Legacy (freaking love Bosch!) and meanwhile Colin is watching … errr… Oh! yeah, Gotham, which I took a pass on — too dark and superhero-y — and we haven’t even started Stranger Things new season yet! WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR???? I finished Flight Attendant (oh yeah!) and gave up on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier even though I really love Bucky (meh) and gorged myself on that one show with that one comedian who used to be on Amy Schumer’s show, and it’s set in Kansas, but I can’t remember the name (So good).
So how are you doing? Anything interesting in the news lately?
